Product Roundup February 2020
New year, even better platform. In the first month and a half of 2020, we've rolled out several updates and enhanced functions for you to enjoy – including the missing piece to help you bridge the design-to-development gap.
Getty Images Integration
During the course of last year, we put a focus on having stock image integrations available for your Frontify environment. We’re thrilled to tell you that from now on, you’re able to include royalty-free visuals from Getty Images in your Libraries. Access your synced Getty Images assets with the Frontify Media Library and strengthen your brand by enriching it with top-notch visuals. Reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager to see how you can build this into your brand management experience.
Seamlessly handover design concepts to developers with the new Inspect Mode for Frontify. This dynamic feature makes it possible to instantly reveal all essential design specs like typeface, color, measurement, and more – pulled directly from the Sketch file. You can even export assets and code snippets from the design files, and skip tiresome back and forths between a multitude of local tools, and transform concepts into living code in no time – without leaving the Frontify environment. Plus, you can ensure designs are always on-brand with the auditing functionality; the living guidelines remain a single source of truth for all materials at every stage in development. Learn more about the Inspect Mode and how you can use it to the fullest.
As important as it is to have a simple way to enable everyone – designer or not – to bring creative concepts to fruition, efficiency and speed should be top priorities. With the Template Library, designers can edit, update, and organize all design templates, defining which components can and can’t be modified by users, in a dedicated space. Centralized and shareable, all teams can easily create and publish on-brand designs for both online and offline purposes.
Email White Labeling
You might have noticed there’s the potential for a lot of emails being sent when working with Frontify – whether it’s changes in projects, new team members being invited to view an asset, or simple access requests. With the various touchpoints users have with your brand, keeping up to date with the latest and greatest via email makes sense – another touchpoint you’ll want to ensure is on-brand. With the Email White Labeling feature, you can change the appearance of your email templates by replacing the logo, CTAs, and texts to ensure the user experience is consistently consistent.
User Groups Enhancement
A small, but notable enhancement has been made when it comes to user groups. From now on, you can add and remove users from a group from within the ‘Groups’ tab. This will bring you improved oversight of the groups while saving precious time. Alternatively, you can still assign single users to groups and include SSO users to groups.
Terms and Conditions on Login Page
Security issues are raised often in the digital space; justifiably so. That’s why we extended the possibilities to the branded login page. From now on, you can place your custom terms and conditions there – making sure that new users agree to them before logging in, so you can rest assured the required instructions to securely deal with all your data have been read.
And that’s about it for now, but lots more to come. Check back soon.
