We’ve been recognized as a Challenger in Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant for Digital Asset Management for the second year in a row.
We believe being named a Challenger speaks to Frontify’s commitment to pushing category norms, and building for what’s next in the DAM space. Instead of treating digital asset management as a storage problem, we’ve always seen it as part of a bigger brand system — one where assets, brand knowledge and context combine to form a single source of truth that every team, tool, and agent can work from.
“Managing brand assets is only half the story,” said Sofia Ryan, Frontify’s Chief Product Officer. “A logo sitting in a folder tells you nothing about where it belongs, who can use it, or what it should sit next to. The real work is connecting that knowledge and context so teams get guidance they can actually act on. That’s the product we’ve been building, and this recognition tells us we’re heading in the right direction as brand work increasingly includes AI.”
Ian Jentgen, Frontify’s Chief Revenue Officer, echoed this sentiment: “It’s an exciting time in the DAM space. The team is so committed to evolving and rethinking what asset management means in an AI-driven world, and in my view, being recognized feels like a testament to that. And of course, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the amazing customers who trust us with their brand management and push us to raise the bar every day.”
As AI changes how brands work, Frontify is continuing to evolve alongside them. Here’s a look at some of the capabilities we believe drove our recognition this year:
One brand system. In Frontify, live brand guidelines connect to design systems and creative templates in a single, cohesive system, with relational catalogs that connect assets to structured business data.
Brand checker. Our AI agent reviews creative assets for color, logo, typography, and clear space against a brand's own guidelines, with pass/fail scores, remediation suggestions, and automatic routing into review workflows. It’s part of a bigger platform evolution, as we expand our AI capabilities to handle complex, agentic operations inside the DAM.
Scalable asset management for enterprises and multi-brand orgs. Frontify’s built for massive scale: high-volume batch uploads of up to 25,000 files, relational data catalogs, and rule-based curated asset views for every audience that replace fragmented folder structures as content volume scales.
An MCP built for how brands work now. The Frontify MCP server gives AI agents 52 predefined skills to discover assets, enforce brand guideline rules, and generate templates directly from natural language prompts.
Leading brands like Skyscanner already use this unified approach to stay distinctive as they grow:
“We needed a single source of truth where the brand could live, where we could iterate with ease, and that would allow us to execute through our network of agencies and partners. Frontify does that.”
