World-leading brands have a remarkable way of becoming part of our lives without fading into the background. Every year, our partner Interbrand recognizes some of these brands in its Best Global Brands list. We’re delighted to see more than 20 of our customers recognized in the 2026 rankings.
These tastemakers and category shapers influence our culture and raise our expectations. They span the aspirational and the everyday: from companies we might buy from once in a lifetime to those we interact with every week.
“Great brands have a way of staying with us, and seeing so many of our customers recognized among Interbrand’s Best Global Brands is a very proud moment,” said Digge Zetterberg Odh, Chief Marketing Officer at Frontify. “These brands not only earn people’s trust; they also keep finding the balance between consistency and pushing boundaries in an ever-changing landscape. That’s no easy feat. Huge congratulations to everyone on the list.”
We’re privileged to work alongside many of the world’s most exciting brands and support the teams behind them.
Excellence doesn’t happen by accident. It takes the right foundations, plenty of expertise, and deliberate effort to make it look effortless. We spoke with Kia and Volkswagen about what it takes to build and sustain a global brand.
Behind great global brands
As a brand grows, so does its ambition to create distinctive experiences across an expanding range of touchpoints. Yet the further a brand stretches, the greater the challenge of ensuring that every interaction still feels like part of the same whole.
A global organization may need to translate a central creative vision into thousands of executions across markets, languages, teams, and channels.
“At Kia, we believe movement inspires ideas,” said Giorgia Candreva, Specialist Brand and Marketing at Kia Europe. “Building, protecting, and evolving our brand requires a strong foundation of consistency, enabled by state-of-the-art tools that empower teams to create with confidence. As technology continues to evolve, these tools help us balance creative freedom with the consistency needed to evolve with customer needs and advance our ambition of becoming a Sustainable Mobility Solutions Provider.”
What consumers see and experience is a brand interaction that feels authentic and relevant to their lives: frictionless and right for the moment. But what feels seamless to the consumer takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes.
That work is orchestration: bringing together the data, processes, content, and technology behind a brand so every element works in concert. It allows a brand to translate its identity and ambition into consistent experiences, wherever and whenever people encounter it.
Today, the ecosystem delivering brand experiences is more complex than ever. Global and local teams, agencies and partners, physical and digital channels, technologies, and ever-growing asset libraries all need to move together.
The challenge is no longer simply to create a great brand experience. It’s to ensure that every part of the organization has what it needs to deliver one.
Consistency and evolution
The brands on Interbrand’s Best Global Brands list have built identities that resonate across markets and created experiences that have earned a place in our everyday lives. But world-leading brands don’t live by great ideas alone.
As brands expand across more markets, channels, and experiences, showing up consistently becomes increasingly complex. A single idea must take countless forms, adapted to different audiences and contexts without losing what makes it distinctive.
“Strong brands are created through consistency, but remain relevant through continuous development,” said Lisa Wiechmann, Corporate Design Manager at Volkswagen. “Across the Volkswagen Group, we have worked to scale our corporate design ecosystem and give our teams a common foundation while supporting the individual needs of our brands. Our partnership with Frontify has provided a strong foundation for us to scale and evolve.”
We’re proud of the role Frontify plays in the orchestration behind many of the brands celebrated on the Best Global Brands list. We may not be in front of the camera, but we help some of the world’s leading creative minds bring their visions to life. From where we stand, the possibilities for what brands can create — and how far those ideas can travel — continue to grow.
