The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • Analytics: Active users by country.
    To give you more insights to better understand active users' geographical distribution and monitor Monthly Active Users' evolution over time, we created Active users by country. The new chart in the Users section showcases the total number of active users by country and region. The default chart shows country data; however, if you select a country from the top-left filter, the chart automatically updates, showing the regional distribution.

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where the time stamp of the video player was showing "NaN:NaN" instead of the correct time.

  • Guidelines: We fixed an issue when performing a revision rollback on a multipage asset that did not update the number of pages the asset displayed.

The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • Libraries: Collapsable collections
    Gone are the days of scrolling through many collections before a curator can see a library's assets. With the collapse button at the top of the collections section, all collections are hidden so the user can easily view the assets. Simply clicking on the expand button will display all collections again.
  • Libraries: Easily edit metadata multi-select properties
    Curating asset metadata just got a bit easier. For long multi-select option lists, we've implemented a search capability to help you find and select the right option faster than ever.

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where brand colors were not available in the backend logo library background color picker.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where the sidebar of the asset viewer was empty.
  • Libraries: Related asset thumbnails now also display the manually (custom) defined preview images.

The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • Integrations: Sitecore XM Cloud
    We've expanded our integration offering for Sitecore: The full functionality of our Sitecore integration can now be used with Sitecore XM Cloud. Get more info here.
  • Marketplace: Editors access
    Not only admins but also editors will be able to access the marketplace and explore our vast offering of custom content blocks.
  • Analytics: Asset usage by country and region
    The Asset usage by country and region chart will allow users to have a list of asset views and downloads by country over time. Gain a clearer insight into the geographical distribution of asset views and downloads. Get more info here.
  • Analytics: Exporting chart data
    The new download button will make it possible to export the data from every chart by clicking the CSV button next to each. It will give you comprehensive platform, usage, or performance insights. You can also choose to combine the platform data with other sources and build personalized and omnichannel reports. Get more info here.
  • API: Asset thumbnailUrl field public release
    The thumbnailUrl nullable field for supported Asset types, provide a link pointing to the custom thumbnail when one has been previously defined by a user. Otherwise, when applicable, it will fall back to a system-generated thumbnail preview.

  • Libraries: We added a better indication for size limitations in the asset cropping dialog.
  • Libraries: We fixed an a11y issue where collections in the asset viewer were not keyboard accessible.
  • Libraries: We fixed an a11y issue where a wrong semantic tag was used for the stepper navigation.
  • Libraries: We fixed an a11y issue where the "Adobe Creative Cloud" area of the asset viewer didn't meet the requirements.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where assets could not be opened after changing the allowed download sizes.

  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where the text library pages were no longer rendered.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where the change in width and height on the crop dialog was reset to the previous value.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where the font color in license texts could not be applied.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where - for some assets in a shared collection - the custom preview image was shown on the full screen instead of the asset itself.

  • Templates: We have fixed bleed settings for Templates' PDF downloads created in InDesign. Now, you can tailor specific bleed settings for each preset, offering enhanced customization for diverse printing needs. While users without custom presets experience no change, those with unique printing requirements can optimize their settings to ensure a tailored export experience.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where the background color of icons and logos wasn't displayed for externally shared assets.
  • Libraries: We fix the active filter pill display by setting the font color to white.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where the menu item label of exporting a library always loaded on "Generating" and never returned to "Export" after the successful export.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where the font color of a pill facet did not consider whether the active state color was dark or bright.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where users could not open the add to collection dialog in case they had at least one personal collection that only contained unavailable assets due to library page filters, such as workflows, asset lifecycle, targets, or missing required metadata.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where bulk downloads and downloads of single shared assets didn't work when accessing from China.
  • Libraries: We improved the performance for bulk downloads.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where library exports didn't work if you were only a project owner but not an account owner.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where collection layout settings weren't correctly applied.
  • Guidelines: We resolved an issue with shared asset links with a defined custom route path.
  • Guidelines: We fixed a bug where the tooltip of not being able to request the download of protected assets in icon libraries of publicly shared guidelines wasn't shown.
  • Projects: We fixed a bug where the sharing options for assets and folders were accidentally shown in the respective setting menus inside personal projects.

    Adding assets to collections in bulk is more efficient, thanks to clearer flows. Easily scroll through existing collections or add your selected assets to a new collection.

  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where multipage documents caused slow loading time on library pages.
  • Libraries: This new fix prevents private collections from being shown when all assets are targeted or miss the required metadata.

  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where facets could no longer be applied after searching by term whenever the layout type "pills" was chosen.

The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • Guidelines: Color Block translation part of all duplication jobs
    In the past, color block translations could not be copied and duplicated. Currently, color names and block titles can be translated. The new capabilities will enable proper copies when duplicating pages and guidelines, as well as the new copy function in the Content Editor.
  • Libraries: Duplicate Detection Improvement
    Media Libraries with higher numbers of duplicate groups now benefit from a significantly faster loading time of the duplicate detection overview. We changed the number of duplicate groups that will render when the page is loaded so that the user can review the duplicate groups faster. We generate 25 duplicate groups at a time and successively load more as groups are resolved.
  • Libraries: Video AI Tagging
    Your video assets can now make use of our AI tagging feature. In addition to images, it's now also possible to have tags automatically generated for .mov and .mp4 assets. Learn how to activate AI tagging in your Media Libraries in our help article.

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Libraries: When duplicating a document library, the default category doesnโ€™t get created twice, and we donโ€™t end up with duplicated relations between the asset and the document category.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where the performance of the asset chooser was decreasing when it was opened several times in a row.
  • Libraries: The loading time of public links with pre-set filters was significantly reduced.
  • Libraries: Due to duplicate auto tags, the UI was not working correctly in some cases. We deleted the duplicate auto tags from the database, changed the code to prevent adding duplicates in the first place, and hid the auto tags section in the right sidebar when auto-tagging is disabled.
  • Libraries: We resolved an issue regarding saving metadata properties with dependencies in the custom metadata management area.
  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where download request approvers could no longer be activated/deactivated.
