ZEISS has built a new central portal for its digital design system called “Beyond”, making its wide range of resources and guidelines easy to find and use. The platform connects their two distinct design experiences (Online and Product), providing a shared entry point and overarching layer. Despite the design system’s complexity, the portal has a clear structure and is simple to navigate. Additionally, the ZEISS team has connected its portal to tools such as Figma and Storybook, putting their brand and digital design principles top-of-mind and making their latest guidelines and assets easy to access for designers and developers.
